I love cherry blossom season! One of the bonuses of making friends with local photographers is they want to use you to test out new cameras and locations.
A couple of weeks ago I snuck off with Michelle from Ruby Bloom Photography to the cherry blossoms on a private driveway in Clive.
Good thing we went that week as 2 weeks later, all the cherry blossoms were gone. The wind blew them all off the trees.
I think you will agree, Michelle has managed to capture the dusk light and cherry blossoms so well.
The benefit of working with someone you trust is they can give you instructions, tweak your poses, make you laugh and giggle your way through the photoshoot. It's always good to try out different poses, whether suggested by your photographer, copied from a photo you like or learning about what way you need to hold your body or limbs to get the best outcome.
